Edwin

Edwin was established in Japan in 1947. Initially importing American denim as there was no production in Japan at the time, washing and mending it to sell on to his clients. By 1951, Denim was being produced in Japan but was at a lower standard to its American counterparts. This inspired Edwin's founder Mr Tsunemi to start creating his own designs, and in 1961 the first pair of Edwin jeans were made. Since then Edwin has been at the forefront of the Denim industry, in the seventies being the first to develop 'old wash' and in the eighties they invented 'stonewash'. If you are looking for a quality Denim brand that will wash well and you will treasure and age like a good friendship, look no further than Edwin. Coming in an array of weights and washes, not to mention their legendary Rainbow Selvage ED47 denim, Edwin is a serious contender.
