Mackintosh

Mackintosh is a brand built on true craftsmanship and a two hundred year history. In 1823 Charles Macintosh developed the process of spreading rubber onto cotton to create the world's first formal waterproof fabric, signalling the arrival of the original Mackintosh coat. Still made by hand in the Cumbernauld factory, each Mackintosh coat is created from start to finish by the same highly skilled craftsmen who train for over three years. From the cutting to the gluing, right down to the final touches, each coat is a labour of true dedication and skill.
