Filippa K found inspiration from vintage French Elle magazines of the 1980's where an energetic vibe dominated and women were portrayed as strong, free and athletic. Utilising stong focus on the "power chic" look, Filippa K exaggerated shoulders to create an edge on both coats and jackets. In contrast, prints are very feminine, either abstract with uneven spots in summery colours or graphic and delicate.
